" Empty pockets never held anybody back. But only empty heads and empty hearts can".
Which means empty pocket cannot hold you back but an empty head and an empty heart.
Over 60% of the world population live below standard. Many have accepted it to be fate and reached a conclusion that they are not destined to be rich or rise above poverty.
Poverty as it where is a state of mind. It has nothing to do with what you have or what you don't have, it is only a description of your inability. Unfortunately, many in the world today use the wrong yardstick to estimate and describe the term 'Poverty'.
The worst description and estimation of poverty is by valuing it by what you have physically or what you don't have. Poverty like I said is a mindset. It would as well interest you to know that the size of your mind determines the size of your pocket. By the help of the Holy-spirit I have come to understand that there is general law overseen by God, and God alone and not subject to your career, your field of study, your class of degree, or the number of degrees you possess. This general Law is known as the "THE LAW OF MINDSET" and it states that
"The size of your mind is directly proportional to the size of your pocket; for it is the content of your mind that would determine the size of your pocket" .
Therefore, if you want to be rich, you have to be rich first on the inside. But if on the contrary, where you are rich on the outside first, two (2) things are bound to happen;
*You would loose you wealth and ** Your wealth would destroy you. The Holy bible puts it this way, "THE WEALTH OF FOOLS IS THEIR DESTRUCTION".
You therefore need to pay less attention to what you have in your pocket, focus more on enlarging your mind, gathering the right financial knowledge, right information, and in no time it would reflect in your pocket. When it comes to living in abundance or riches your number one pursuit should not be to make quick physical cash by any means possible. But your number one pursuit should be first to invest in your Mind.
Money is not the cure for the poverty of the poor. Also charity has never made anyone rich. The cure for poverty is not to first issue out money but to feed the mind with the necessary knowledge required for financial freedom. The 3rd world nations receive charity but it has never made any of them a first world nation. As much as they receive, it has only push them to deeper poverty and deeper debt. Is Ifeanyi trying to say I should not be involved in Charity? NO !!! What I literally mean is that to put a lasting end to the poverty of the poor , their minds need to be fed and not their stomach. Their minds needs to be properly developed and equipped. The reason why two people would go to the same school in the same country, and yet one becomes rich and the other remains poor is because of their difference in understanding. And when it comes to understanding, the capacity of your mind determines how you understand and proffer solutions to problems. Your mind has an eye. But before it can be opened it must have been fed to a point where it doesn't just 'LOOK' but 'SEES'- For the eyes that look are many but the eyes that see are few.
My most important emphasis is that you as an individual should not pay attention to meeting the immediate seen needs of your pocket but rather pay greater attention to the unseen need, the size of your mind.
People exclaim; "I don't have a Job" - The answer is this "You have not developed the required competence"
Your pocket might be empty today, but if your mind is filled up, then You are not poor and neither are you a part of the middle-class!!
The Holy bible recognizes just two classes of people which are; THE HAVES AND THE HAVES NOT or THE RICH AND THE POOR; there is no such thing as a middle class. Its a mirage. The middle-Class people are "Comfortable and well decorated poor men" - There is no such thing as a Middle-Class, its a deception.
Your mind being filled has nothing to with obtaining a degree from a university Education system, they are necessary but the best it can offer is an inspiration to learn but never educates you. If you really want to move a person from poverty to abundance and prosperity, do not first give him/her money. This shouldn't be the first approach. Don't fill their pockets when you haven't filled their minds. If not you would push them to greater level of poverty by filling their pockets and leaving their minds empty.
Finally if truly the course of any man is to fight poverty, he should be more concerned about the size of his mind and not the size of his Pocket. SELAH !!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE, even as you advance your mind in year 2019, if not you would be the same person in 5 years as you are today except from the persons you meet and the books you read.
Nwaoloko Ifeanyi.
